We have been keeping track of several toll rate changes across the country this summer. Here is a rundown of some of the changes that we have identified recently.
Golden Gate Bridge Toll: Rates increase on Sunday, July 1, 2018. The increase is part of a multi-year toll increase program approved by the Board of Directors in February 2014. Click here for the new rates.
Miami-Dade Expressway Authority: As of July 1, the MDX has approved a reduction of the Sunpass and toll-by-plate rates on its five expressways: the Dolphin, Airport, Don Shula, Snapper Creek and the Gratigny Parkway. Current rates.
Southern Indiana & Kentucky: Rates increased July 1 for the three tolled bridges connecting Louisville and Southern Indiana. This is the first increase since toll began back in December 2016. Travelers will experience a toll increase of 2.5 percent, but a discount is being offered for frequent drivers with RiverLink accounts. Check it out.
Pennsylvania: The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission (PTC) approved a system-wide six percent toll increase that will take effect on Jan. 6, 2019, for both cash and electronic toll payers. Learn more.
Kansas: The Kansas Turnpike Authority will be making toll adjustments, effective Oct. 1, 2018, as part of its FY19 plan. Changes include increases for some customers, minor adjustments for other and large discounts for electronic customers. Click here for the new rates.
